Restokk is an installable web app. You install it from Chrome, so there’s no app-store download to find.

Full installation & troubleshooting guide

  1. Open Restokk in Chrome.

    Use Chrome on your Android phone. Create a free account or sign in to the account you already use.

  2. Add it to your home screen.

    Use the app’s Install app button. You can also open Chrome’s ⋮ menu and look for Install and create shortcut → Install, Install app or Add to Home screen. The wording can vary by device.

  3. Let Dorc send notifications.

    Open Restokk, go to Alert settings and select Enable push alerts. Allow notifications when Chrome asks. Installing the app alone doesn’t turn them on.

  4. Try a test alert.

    In Alert settings, choose Send test alert and check your phone’s notifications. Then add a product you’re waiting for.

Stock checks run on our server. You can close Restokk and get on with your day; your enabled Android notifications can still arrive.

  • One watchlist across your devices.Sign in with the same email and password to see your saved products.
  • Enable push on each Android device.Notification permission belongs to the device and browser where you enabled it.
  • An internet connection is needed.The app needs a connection to load your watchlist. Force-stopping Chrome, notification settings or battery restrictions can delay alerts.

A couple of phone questions.

I can’t see the install option.

Open Restokk directly in Chrome on Android, rather than inside another app’s browser. Sign in and look for Install app or Add to Home screen in Chrome’s menu. If it’s already installed, the option may not appear. You can keep using the web app in the meantime.

My test alert hasn’t arrived.

Check that notifications are allowed for Restokk in Chrome and Android settings, that your phone is online, and that Do Not Disturb isn’t hiding the alert. Battery restrictions or a force-stopped browser can also interfere. See Android alert troubleshooting.

Can I get emails as well?

Yes. Select Email me when it returns when adding a product. Your email and Android alerts can both be enabled, and every detected restock is also saved in your in-app inbox. Read the email guide.
