What works on iPhone today?
Your browser gives you access to the same account, one-product free watchlist and saved alert inbox as any other device. Restokk sends stock emails to your verified account address when you enable them for a product.
iPhone app support is coming soon, with no release date announced. These steps use email; they don’t set up Restokk push notifications on an iPhone.
Set up your first email alert
- Create a free account in your iPhone’s browser. Choose an email address you can check on your phone.
- Open the verification email and use its link, or enter the six-digit code on the verification screen. The link and code expire after 30 minutes.
- Open the shop’s product page. Select the size or colour you want, then copy the complete address from the browser.
- In the Restokk web app, paste that address and check the product preview. Look for the right product and a clear stock status.
- Select Email me when it returns before choosing Add to my watchlist. Look for the Email label on the saved product.
That’s it. Our server does the checking, so you can close the browser. A product added while already in stock won’t send an immediate restock email: an alert needs a confirmed change from out of stock to in stock.
Let your email app give you a nudge
If you want your phone to notify you when mail arrives, allow notifications for the email app you use. Its own settings, Focus modes and internet connection affect when you see the message.
Restokk aims to check products about every 15 minutes. A busy checking queue, shop restrictions and email delivery can add time. An email is a heads-up to visit the retailer; it doesn’t reserve the item.
No email? Check these three places
- The saved product: is the Email label showing, and is the watch active?
- Your Restokk alert inbox: has a restock actually been detected? Unknown stock or an already available product won’t trigger an initial alert.
- Your mail folders: check junk and spam, and make sure you’re using the address shown on your Restokk account.
If the in-app alert exists but the email is missing, contact us with the product link and approximate alert time. Never send your password or verification code.
